We left the Minneapolis Northwest KOA on Wednesday, September 6th. It is always hard to say good-bye to our family and friends, but we had a very fun and full spring and summer. The biggest event was the birth of our 16th grandchild in July, Amelia. Of course, I'm not prejudice at all, but I think that she is the most beautiful baby on earth.
Our first stop, was visiting Roger's brother and our sister-in-law in Grand Rapids, MN. It was a short but sweet visit but we were able to spend the day/evening and a nice breakfast at a great local establishment the next morning. The next two days we hit the road running and arrived in Helena, MT so that we could spend a few days with Roger's sister and our brother-in-law. We always have a great visit with them and on one of our afternoons we went on a boat tour through the Gates of the Mountains.
