We left the Northwest Minneapolis KOA (Maple Grove) at 7:30 this morning. We drove all the way to Dickinson, North Dakota; just a little over 500 miles, arriving at 4:30 pm (Mountain Time). We wanted to get as far through North Dakota as possible. Nothing against North Dakota but it's not the most beautiful state in the Union. Until we crossed the Missouri River, the scenery was pretty boring. Once we crossed the river, the scenery got better and better. We saw many butte's and over each hill the landscape was more and more beautiful.
North RV Park is only 35 miles from Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which is where we plan to start our day tomorrow. We had a great dinner at Sandford's Grub & Pub which I thought was a "local" establishment. Come to find out, it's a restaurant chain. Oh well, a nice nights sleep and away we go!!!
